Paul D. Fleming, Sr.
Pastor Paul Fleming, a native from Gulfport, MS, graduated from Gulfport High School. He received his associates degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and his Bachelor's of Science degree from Birmingham-Southern College. Pastor Paul has been happily married to Lady Lakesha, a native of Tuscaloosa, AL, since 1999. They have two sons.
As a basketball standout, Pastor Paul earned both athletic and academic scholarships throughout his college career. He was a co-captain of the 1995 national championship basketball team at Birmingham-Southern College. Pastor Paul is an inductee in the Birmingham-Southern Sports Hall of Fame in for his athletic accomplishments.
After graduating for Birmingham-Southern, Pastor Paul spent two years in banking before joining the sales team at Long-Lewis Ford where he has been assisting customers in purchasing automobiles since 1997.
Pastor Paul was called into the ministry in 2002. After being licensed and ordained by Bishop Awalski M. Moore, the senior pastor of Mount Zion Cathedral Church in Birmingham, Alabama, he served as the First Assistant to Overseer Moore for 4 years. Under the leadership of Bishop Moore, Pastor Paul received the vital teaching and experience in ministry that enabled him to start Greater Faith Christian Church when God led him.
Pastor Paul has a heart for people, he loves traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He also loves teaching the Word of God. Pastor Paul teaches in a simplistic way that makes it very easy for listeners to learn and grow. He places great emphasis on personal development. He believes that the life of the believer should be one of continuous improvement.
